Key Responsibilities Payroll Management
● Manage end-to-end payroll processing with accuracy and timeliness.
● Administer salary inputs including attendance, leaves, reimbursements, and variable pay.
● Ensure compliance with statutory laws (PF, ESIC, PT, TDS, Gratuity, etc.) and file returns.
● Address and resolve payroll-related employee queries effectively. Operations & Data
● Maintain and audit employee master data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
● Reconcile payroll data with finance and generate regular MIS and reports.
● Support HR operations during onboarding, exits, and employee life-cycle updates. Systems & Process Excellence
● Manage payroll modules in HROne (or equivalent HRMS).
● Partner with internal teams to streamline processes and enhance system efficiency.
● Conduct system checks, validations, and ensure smooth data flow across HR, payroll, and finance.
● Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with data security standards.
● Recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors. Key Requirements
● Graduate in Commerce, Finance, HR, or related field.
● 5+ years of payroll operations experience in mid/large organizations.
● Hands-on expertise with HROne or similar HRMS/payroll systems.
● Strong knowledge of payroll compliance and labor laws.
● Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, reconciliations).
● Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
