Seeking for a highly motivated Senior Pediatrics Consultant for Apex Health Qatar.

Requirements:

• Arabic Speaker.
• American Board of Pediatrician. Australian or Canadian are also welcome.
• 5 Years Experience.
• Leadership skills.

Job Summary: The Senior Pediatrics Consultant will lead our pediatrics department, providing expert medical care, consultation, and leadership in pediatric medicine. Reporting directly to the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), this position offers an opportunity to contribute to clinical excellence, education, and research in pediatric healthcare.

Some responsibilities:

1. Provide specialized medical care and consultation to pediatric patients, including infants, children, and adolescents.
2. Diagnose and manage a wide range of pediatric conditions, acute illnesses, chronic diseases, and developmental issues.
3. Perform and supervise pediatric procedures, vaccinations, and preventive care measures.
4. Lead and mentor a team of pediatricians, residents, fellows, nurses, and support staff within the pediatrics department.
5. Provide guidance on clinical management, treatment protocols, and pediatric care pathways.
6. Foster a culture of clinical excellence, patient safety, and continuous professional development among pediatric staff.
7. Implement quality assurance programs and initiatives to enhance clinical outcomes, patient safety, and family centered care in pediatric.
8. Contribute to pediatric research studies, publications, and presentations at national and international conferences.
9. Stay updated with advancements in pediatric medicine, treatments, and healthcare practices, and contribute to the development of evidence-based guidelines.
10. Collaborate effectively with other specialty departments, including neonatology, pediatric surgery, neurology, and oncology, to provide comprehensive care for pediatric patients.
