About this Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Pega System Architect to lead the development and implementation of Pega-based solutions. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong foundation in Pega PRPC technology, who can translate complex technical designs into scalable solutions, mentor junior developers, and ensure adherence to best practices. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, efficient, and innovative Pega applications, while collaborating with cross-functional teams across onshore and offshore locations.

What you’ll do

Implement technical designs based on Pega 8.x, ensuring adherence to best practices and development guardrails.
Lead the development of Pega multi-process applications, including UI, integrations, agents, and performance tuning.
Provide low-level design documentation and write detailed technical user stories.
Take end-to-end ownership of assigned modules and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
Mentor and guide junior developers, offering technical support and conducting code reviews.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
Conduct performance analysis and tuning of Pega applications.
Train and onboard new team members.
Contribute to design discussions and provide technical insights.

Who you are

Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
Certified Pega Senior System Architect (SSA).
Minimum 7 years of experience in Pega application development, including at least one greenfield project from inception to production.
Proficient in Pega 8.x, with strong knowledge of Pega design, low-code development using App Studio, and integration protocols (SOAP/REST).
Skilled in general IT technologies including Java, Unix shell scripting, Oracle DB SQL scripting, and application server concepts such as WebLogic.
Familiarity with tools like SoapUI and Postman.
Experience with PegaCall and CTI integration (e.g., Genesys) is advantageous.
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in onsite/offshore delivery models.
German language proficiency is a plus.
