Plumb provides Family Office Accounting/Bill Pay services (PlumbBillPay.com). We have 50+ employees. Our clients are Ultra High Net Worth Individuals around the United States and some abroad. We are NOT Financial Advisors, rather, we tend to all of the back-office accounting services and provide our clients and their advisors reporting and services.


The Role

This is a cross-functional role combining People Operations (HR + Recruiting) and Executive Support. You’ll serve as a trusted partner to leadership while owning and improving our people processes—from hiring to employee experience.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys wearing multiple hats, and can operate both strategically and tactically.

Key Responsibilities

People Operations (HR)

  • Own and manage day-to-day HR operations across the employee lifecycle
  • Maintain and improve onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Support performance management cycles and employee development initiatives
  • Help build and refine company policies, processes, and internal documentation
  • Act as a point of contact for employee questions and support needs
  • Ensure compliance with HR best practices and regulations

Recruiting & Talent

  • Execute full-cycle recruiting for key roles (job postings, sourcing, coordination, and candidate experience)
  • Partner with hiring managers to define roles, scorecards, and hiring strategies
  • Improve recruiting processes and implement best practices
  • Help build a strong employer brand and candidate pipeline

Executive Support

  • Provide high-level support to CEO/founder and leadership team
  • Manage calendars, priorities, and scheduling across multiple stakeholders
  • Prepare materials for meetings, presentations, and key initiatives
  • Help drive follow-ups and accountability on leadership priorities
  • Assist with special projects and cross-functional initiatives


Operations & Projects

  • Identify opportunities to improve internal workflows and efficiency
  • Support company-wide initiatives and special projects
  • Help implement tools, systems, and processes that scale with growth


What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in People Operations, HR, Recruiting, Executive Support, or similar hybrid roles
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of discretion and professionalism
  • Ability to operate independently and handle ambiguity
  • Experience in a small to mid-sized, fast-growing company preferred
  • Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution


Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $75,000 – $95,000 + performance-based bonus
