We are looking for a Senior Photonics Engineer who can take ownership of complex optical system development. You are not just working on components you are shaping how light based technologies are applied in real world environments. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, translating advanced concepts into scalable, high performance solutions. You are the technical authority in a room full of engineers and stakeholders, ensuring every design is both innovative and practical.

Key Responsibilities

Optical System Design
Design, develop, and optimize photonic and optical systems including lasers, fiber optics, and sensing technologies.

End to End Engineering
Lead projects from concept development and simulation through prototyping, testing, and deployment.

Technical Leadership
Provide guidance to junior and mid level engineers. Conduct technical reviews and ensure engineering standards are maintained across all projects.

Testing and Validation
Develop and execute testing protocols to validate system performance, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.

Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with cross functional teams and management. Clearly communicate technical decisions and project progress.

What We Are Looking For

Experience
6 plus years in photonics, optical engineering, or a related field, with at least 1 to 2 years in a senior or leadership capacity.

Technical Expertise
Strong knowledge of optical systems, photonic components, fiber optics, and simulation tools.

Education
Bachelor or Master degree in Photonics, Optical Engineering, Physics, or related discipline.

Tools and Skills
Experience with optical design software and laboratory testing equipment. Familiarity with system integration and signal processing is an advantage.

Mindset
You are analytical and solution focused. You understand when to refine a design and when to move forward to meet project timelines.

Pay: QAR18,000.00 - QAR24,000.00 per month
