Job Title: Senior Plaintiff Employment Attorney – Wrongful Termination
Location: Century City, Los Angeles, CA
Base Compensation: $200,000 – $350,000 base DOE
Bonus: Discussed directly with firm leadership
About the Opportunity
An established plaintiff-side litigation firm in Century City is launching a brand-new Employment Law practice and hiring a senior attorney to build and lead it.
This is not a backfill.
This is not a plug-in associate seat.
This is a true department-building opportunity.
You will have ownership, autonomy, and long-term upside inside a stable, well-funded platform.
Primary Focus
- Strong wrongful termination experience is required
- Wage and hour matters
- Related employment claims
- Class action or PAGA experience is a plus, not mandatory
What You Will Do
- Lead plaintiff-side employment matters from intake through resolution
- Handle both pre-litigation and litigation strategy
- Develop and refine templates, workflows, and case playbooks
- Design intake processes and litigation systems
- Participate in mediations, negotiations, and strategic planning
- Collaborate with leadership on hiring and building the team
This role is for someone who does not need heavy supervision and can operate independently.
What You Need
- Active California Bar in good standing
- 5+ years of plaintiff-side employment litigation experience
- Demonstrable wrongful termination experience
- Experience handling both pre-litigation and litigation matters
- Ability to manage a caseload independently
- Builder mindset with strong professional maturity
- Comfortable working onsite during the initial build phase
Work Model
- Onsite five days per week in Century City during early build-out
- High collaboration in the first several months
- Longer-term flexibility possible once the department is stable
Compensation
- Base salary range: $200,000 – $350,000 depending on experience
- Bonus structure discussed directly with firm leadership
- Compensation calibrated based on experience and leadership capability
