Job Summary

The Senior Planner – Retail is responsible for developing and managing merchandise plans to maximize sales, inventory productivity, profitability, and stock availability across retail stores and channels. The role involves demand forecasting, assortment planning, inventory optimization, replenishment management, and close coordination with Buying, Merchandising, Supply Chain, and Store Operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial OTB, sales, margin and inventory plans.
• Monitor KPIs including Sales, Margin, Sell Through, Weeks of Cover and Stock Turn.
• Partner with Buying, Supply Chain, Finance and Retail Operations.
• Pre-Buy Analysis, Post Buy Analysis, In-Season Demand Planning
• Partner with Buying Team on Assortment & Range Planning
• Provide weekly trading analysis and recommend commercial actions.
• Manage forecasting, inventory productivity and replenishment.
• Support promotional and markdown planning.
• Prepare executive reports and presentations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree. Relevant retail planning experience appropriate to role level. Advanced Excel required; Power BI and ERP experience preferred.
