Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a talented Senior Planning Engineer to join an infrastructure project in KSA.

The ideal candidate should have experience in Industrial Parks & Factories projects, excellent communication and organizational skills, and a strong understanding of Project Controls and Planning.

What You'll Be Doing:

  1. Provide leadership for planning, scheduling, progress measurement, and reporting for the entire project.
  2. Guide, direct, and assist planning & reporting staff; interface with clients; attend meetings.
  3. Develop, implement, and maintain project controls processes, procedures, systems, and tools; monitor compliance.
  4. Offer guidance and resolve planning issues as they arise.
  5. Set up Primavera P6 for program management across the planning team with all stakeholders.
  6. Assist in preparing the integrated master programme for the project.
  7. Support the selection process for consultants & contractors during tendering and evaluation.
  8. Establish and deliver formal reporting on project progress for clients and stakeholders.
  9. Organize project controls workshops/meetings to address and resolve project control issues.
  10. Review and challenge claims and EOT requests.
  11. Help develop the document control system and communication flow for the project.
  12. Review and analyze consultants' and contractors' programmes in line with contractual requirements.
  13. Ensure procurement, material, and submittal logs are maintained.
  14. Assess and analyze impacts of design and construction changes and schedule slippages.
  15. Coordinate effective project risk management across the project.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering or construction management with 15+ years of post-graduate experience in infrastructure projects.
  • Good knowledge of design processes and construction methodologies.
