Job Summary

The Senior Schedules Planning & Follow-up Engineer will proactively manage, control, and report on the planning and scheduling activities of the projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage the planning & scheduling aspects of assigned projects and the overall program.
• Assist in preparing the program master schedule and perform critical path analysis.
• Participate in claims analysis and negotiations.
• Prepare schedule performance measurement reports, forecasts, and studies.
• Develop, own, and implement project control procedures in conjunction with supporting project functions.
• Prepare project plan frameworks and detailed manpower utilization plans.
• Analyze critical paths and constraints to determine the effects of changes on the schedule and recommend workarounds to mitigate impacts.
• Develop plans and recommendations for mitigating schedule problems.
• Assist in preparing the monthly progress report.
• Establish and monitor project control KPIs.
• Support the implementation of project policies and procedures.
• Support the Project Controls team in project status review and performance control.
• Maintain liaison with project and field personnel for schedule revisions and updates.
• Provide project planning capabilities including critical interfaces and risk analysis.
• Ensure project policies and procedures are implemented accordingly.
• Work actively with Primavera Contract Manager and Primavera Scheduler.
• Own the Risk Management procedure.

The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor's degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering from an internationally recognized university.

Minimum 10 years of experience in project and resource management, planning, scheduling, reviewing targeted and corrective schedules using Primavera Enterprise Program, monitoring work progress and performance rates, and confirming the appropriateness of available resources in the project to meet execution rates. Fluency in English and Arabic is mandatory.
