Job Description:
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive project master schedules, incorporating all phases, tasks, milestones, and deliverables (e.g., engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning).
- Create and manage Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) to accurately reflect project scope and tasks.
- Establish and communicate project baselines for schedule and cost.
- Monitor project progress against established baselines, identifying deviations, delays, and potential risks.
- Conduct regular project status meetings, providing updates on schedule performance, resource utilization, and potential impacts on project outcomes.
- Analyze project data and performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas of concern.
- Implement corrective and recovery actions to mitigate delays and maintain the project schedule.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential issues that could impact project timelines or budget.
- Develop and implement mitigation strategies for identified risks.
- Prepare and distribute accurate and insightful reports, dashboards, and presentations summarizing project schedules, progress, and performance indicators for internal and external stakeholders (e.g., daily, weekly, monthly reports, S-curves, histograms).
- Facilitate meetings to review, re-prioritize, and manage schedule changes.
- Work with quality control teams to ensure construction activities meet required standards.
- Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to junior planning engineers and project teams.

QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering – Civil
- 15 years of experience in GCC as a planner
- Proficiency in project planning and scheduling software such as Primavera P6 (highly preferred), Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
