Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain project schedules using appropriate tools.

• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with project timelines.

• Monitor project progress and identify any potential delays or issues.

• Prepare detailed reports and presentations on project status, progress, and performance.

• Conduct regular site visits to assess project progress and ensure compliance with plans and schedules.

• Provide technical guidance and support to junior planning engineers.

• Review and validate project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.

• Assist in the development of project budgets and financial forecasts.

• Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential project delays.

• Ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices in project planning and execution.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in project planning and scheduling.

• Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6.

• Strong understanding of construction processes, methodologies, and industry standards.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

• Ability to read and understand construction drawings.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

• Professional certification in project management (PMP) is a plus.
