JOB VACANCY: SENIOR PLANNING ENGINEER (EARTHWORKS)

We are currently hiring a Senior Planning Engineer – Earthworks to join our project team.

Job Responsibilities:

- Prepare, review, and update project schedules for earthworks and infrastructure projects

- Develop baseline program, recovery plans, and detailed work sequences

- Monitor daily/weekly progress of excavation, backfilling, compaction, and hauling activities

- Coordinate with site engineers, survey team, plant/fleet team, and subcontractors

- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, S-curves, and productivity analysis

- Track manpower, equipment utilization, and material deliveries

- Identify delays, risks, and constraints and recommend corrective actions

- Support project management in planning meetings and reporting to clients/consultants

- Assist in preparation of claims, EOT documentation, and variation impact analysis

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field

Minimum 15-20 years experience in planning (preferably earthworks / bulk excavation / road works / infrastructure)

Strong knowledge of Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Excel

Experience in managing schedules for heavy equipment operations and fleet productivity

Good understanding of earthworks methodology, quantities, and sequencing

Strong communication and coordination skills

UAE experience is an advantage
