Senior Planning Engineer - Civil

• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports
• Attend weekly internal coordination meetings and prepare minutes of the meetings
• Attend weekly progress meetings with the Consultants and also prepare and present the weekly progress status to them
• Review daily site progress reports before the submission to the Consultant
• Prepare draft delay or progress-related letters, which are to be sent to Subcontractors/Consultant
• Develop a baseline program with resource loading
• Work out recovery, mitigation, and other schedules
• Monitor and track overall project progress and write up reports to monitor the same for improving the progress rate at sites
• Monitor and track the progress of subcontractors/suppliers and review their progress reports and programs
• Prepare EOT in case of any delay in the construction period
• Review all the reports that the Planning Engineers prepare
• Supervise, guide, and train the Planning Engineers who are assigned under the project

Experience

• Minimum 9 years of experience as a Senior Planning Engineer in the construction industry within UAE

Experience with project costing, contract administration, and construction claims an added advantage.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, and other project management tools.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
• Solid understanding of basic construction techniques and principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work closely with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Senior Planning Engineer: 9 years (Preferred)
