Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Planning Engineer specializing in fit-out and construction projects. The successful candidate will develop, monitor, and control project schedules, ensuring all planning activities contribute to the successful delivery of high-end construction and interior fit-out projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring alignment with project objectives, milestones, and contractual requirements.
• Establish and manage Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) to support effective planning, monitoring, and reporting.
• Prepare cost estimates, perform resource loading, and conduct resource planning for fit-out and construction projects.
• Coordinate with project teams across procurement, engineering, and construction to ensure schedule alignment and workflow efficiency.
• Identify project risks, perform risk assessments, and implement mitigation strategies to minimize schedule impact.
• Prepare, justify, and manage Time Extension (EOT) claims, including delay analysis and supporting documentation.
• Monitor project progress, analyze variances, anticipate potential delays, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare regular progress reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal teams and clients.
• Ensure full compliance with client requirements, company standards, and project specifications.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of proven experience in project planning, preferably in high-end fit-out and construction projects.
• Advanced expertise in Primavera P6 and strong knowledge of project scheduling methodologies.
• Proficient in developing WBS, cost estimation, and project control techniques.
• Solid understanding of procurement, engineering, and construction processes.
• Demonstrated experience in preparing EOT claims and conducting delay analysis.
• Prior experience in Middle East projects is highly preferred.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Locally available in KSA or willing to relocate.
• Preference for candidates with more experience in fit-out projects.
