Senior Planning Engineer (KSA)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to join our team and support the successful execution of ongoing and upcoming projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules in line with contractual requirements and company objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential delays and risks, and propose mitigation and recovery plans.
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, S-curves, and forecasts.
• Coordinate with project managers, site teams, procurement, and subcontractors to ensure alignment with the approved baseline.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, project specifications, and client requirements.
• Support claims preparation, Extension of Time (EOT) submissions, and delay analysis as required.
• Contribute to resource loading, manpower planning, and productivity analysis to optimize project performance.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Proven experience in project planning and scheduling, preferably within EPC, construction, or electrical infrastructure projects.
• Mandatory proficiency in Primavera P6 and strong command of MS Office.
• Solid understanding of project controls, progress measurement techniques, and basic cost control principles.
• Experience in claims management, EOT preparation, and delay analysis is a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight project deadlines.
