The Planning Engineer will support the successful delivery of renewable energy projects (e.g., wind, solar, hybrid, and storage systems) by developing and maintaining comprehensive project schedules, resource plans, and progress tracking systems. This role ensures that project activities are executed on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

Develop, monitor, and update detailed project schedules (Primavera P6 or MS Project) for all phases of renewable energy projects: development, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.

Prepare and manage project work breakdown structures (WBS), activity coding structures, and critical path analyses.

Work closely with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to integrate inputs into the master schedule.

Conduct schedule risk analysis and identify schedule slippage, resource constraints, and recovery plans.

Support project cost control, including forecasting, earned value analysis, and variance analysis.

Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and performance KPIs for internal and external stakeholders.

Assist in the preparation of RfP, tender and contract schedules and review contractor schedules for accuracy and compliance.

Participate in coordination meetings with team, contractors, consultants, and local authorities.

Monitor compliance with project milestones, grid connection deadlines, and permitting timelines.

Support claims and change order evaluations from a planning and delay analysis perspective.
Education G Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field).

Minimum 3–5 years of planning experience in large infrastructure or renewable energy projects (solar, wind, hybrid, or storage).

Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project is essential.

Experience working with EPC contractors, consultants, and utility stakeholders is a strong advantage.

Familiarity with renewable energy permitting, interconnection, and regulatory timelines.

Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Knowledge of earned value management and project control principles.

Understanding of construction methodologies and renewable energy technologies.

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
