Senior Planning Engineer - United Arab Emirates

Designation : Sr. Engineer – Planning / Engineer - Planning

Experience : 7-12 years

Qualifications: Civil Engineering Graduate or Post-Graduate in Project Management

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Prepare the Baseline Program and get approval from the Client / Consultant with Planning Manager
• Understand Work Scope, Quantities and familiar with logical sequences in terms of Engineering and Construction disciplines.
• Understand WBS and work with Management and Project Team in the development of Work Breakdown Structure for Progress Measurement, Scheduling, Cost Estimation and Project Control.
• Share the Project Plan in minute details on Work Schedules with respective Site Management Staff so that they are aware of the Timelines and Budget for each and every work and advise them on corrective actions, wherever necessary.
• Ensure loading of all Costs and Timelines on the Primavera and provide periodic information on Work Progress to Site Management Staff on Deviations and Delays on Budgets and Programs.
• Develop and update Resource (Manpower and Equipment) Histogram Weekly.
• Evaluate allocation of Resources and provide recommendations to maintain Progress.
• Develop Plan versus Actual Progress Charts (Histograms/S Curves). Analyses & report Deviations from Plan.
• Carry out EOT Analysis and Claim Preparation (Time/ Impact Analysis).
• Build futuristic scenarios linking it to the Current Progress of Site Works and share the associated Financial and other Contractual Implications the Project may have to incur should a corrective action not be put in place.
• Prepare and update One Month and Three Months Look Ahead Schedule that reflect the Priority and Critical Activities.
• Ensure an updated and Real Time Version of the Client Approved and Certified Project Schedules and Timelines which are shared with the Site Management Staff whenever there are any changes or deviations.
• To sit through Periodic Project Review Meets and share the Current Work Progress linked to the Cost to Complete and the variance between Budgeted Costs versus Actuals.
• Track , Monitor and Forecast Progress of all Activities and Deliverables such as Bought-outs , Engineering Documents , Fabrication & Construction Status of all Disciplines.
• Should have worked in high-value Building construction projects.
• Should have experience of Primavera – P6
