Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Plant Pathologist to manage plant health, disease diagnosis, and control programs across nursery, farm, and landscaping operations. The role involves implementing effective disease prevention strategies, supporting large-scale plant production, and ensuring compliance with UAE agricultural standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose plant diseases, pest infestations, and physiological disorders
• Develop and implement disease prevention, control, and IPM programs
• Monitor plant health across nursery and farm sites
• Recommend and manage use of fungicides, bactericides, and biological controls
• Supervise inspections, treatments, and plant health records
• Train staff on disease identification, prevention, and hygiene practices
• Conduct soil and water health assessments
• Support plant quarantine and inspection of new plant material
• Coordinate with production, landscaping, and procurement teams

Qualifications & Experience

• Master’s Degree in Plant Pathology
• 5–8 years of experience in plant pathology (nursery, farm, or landscaping projects)
• GCC / Middle East experience preferred
• Experience in large-scale plant production is an advantage

Skills & Requirements

• Strong plant disease identification and diagnostic skills
• Knowledge of fungal, bacterial, viral, and nematode diseases
• Experience with fungicide/pesticide planning and nursery disease control
• Good reporting skills (MS Excel)
• UAE driving license preferred
• Willing to travel between sites and work outdoors

Language Requirements

• English & Hindi – Required
• Arabic – Preferred
