Senior Plumbing Engineer

Job Title: Senior Plumbing Engineer – High-Rise Building Construction

Job Summary:
The Senior Plumbing Engineer is responsible for leading, managing, and executing all plumbing and drainage works for high-rise building projects. The role involves technical leadership, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with project specifications and local authority regulations, and delivering projects within budget and schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, design review, and execution of plumbing systems for high-rise residential/commercial towers.
• Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings for accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee installation of domestic water supply, chilled water piping (if applicable), drainage, sewage, stormwater, and water transfer systems.
• Coordinate with MEP Manager, Project Manager, consultants, architects, structural engineers, and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, project specifications, and international standards.
• Prepare and review material submittals, method statements, technical proposals, and RFIs.
• Monitor site progress, productivity, and quality of workmanship.
• Lead inspections with consultants and authorities for approvals and handover.
• Identify technical challenges and provide effective engineering solutions.
• Manage subcontractors, site engineers, supervisors, and workforce.
• Support procurement by reviewing BOQs, cost estimates, and material specifications.
• Ensure adherence to HSE policies and maintain a safe working environment.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical and progress updates to management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in plumbing works within high-rise building construction projects.
• Proven experience in handling full-cycle MEP works from design review to project handover.
• Strong knowledge of water supply systems, drainage, sewage treatment, stormwater systems, and pump rooms.
• Experience with high-rise residential or commercial tower projects is mandatory.
• Good knowledge of UAE/GCC authority regulations and approval processes (preferred).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office; knowledge of BIM/Revit is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and meet project deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED11,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
