Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will manage a full caseload of personal injury cases from intake through settlement and manage a pre-litigation team.
As a Pre-Litigation Attorney you will ensure that our clients get the best outcome by working to avoid time-consuming litigation.
Responsibilities
- Monitor team’s work product and files for quality assurance purposes on a daily basi
- Provide strategic oversight of a comprehensive personal injury caseload from intake through resolution, ensuring optimal outcomes while leveraging cross-functional support teams.
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary pre-litigation team, including case managers, legal assistants, demand writers, and settlement and lien negotiators, fostering accountability and professional development.
- Establish and maintain rigorous quality control standards by conducting ongoing audits of case files, work product, and team performance to ensure excellence and compliance.
- Direct case strategy and progression, proactively managing timelines, mitigating risk, and aligning case handling with firm financial objectives, ethical obligations, and legal standards.
- Draft, negotiate, and critically review complex demand packages, settlement proposals, and substantive legal documents.
- Perform in-depth case evaluations to assess liability, damages, exposure, and strategic positioning, advising on resolution pathways.
- Conduct advanced legal research and analysis to support strategic decision-making and case development.
- Serve as a senior point of contact for clients, delivering clear, proactive communication and cultivating trusted advisor relationships throughout the lifecycle of the matter.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Admission to the California State Bar and in good standing
- 5+ year(s) of experience in a similar role at a Personal Injury Firm
- Demonstrated experience leading a team in a supervisory capacity
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent legal drafting skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients and other parties involved in personal injury cases
- Ability to manage an independent caseload and produce high value settlement
- Bilingual preferred

Pay
Salary between $100,000 to $250,000 based on experience + Commission/Bonus Pay
