Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Presales Engineer to lead the technical design, proposal development, and client engagement process for integrated security and IT systems. This role involves working closely with clients, MEP main contractors, and internal sales teams to deliver innovative, cost-effective, and technically sound solutions that meet or exceed client expectations.

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics & Communication, Telecom, Electrical, or Computer Science & Engineering.

Certifications

Relevant vendor certifications in Low Voltage Systems, preferably from:

HID, Honeywell, Pelco, Milestone, Hikvision, Axis, Lenel.

Equivalent certifications may be considered.

Experience

Minimum 10 years of proven experience in the following systems:

  • Access Control
  • CCTV
  • VoIP
  • Data Networks
  • Public Address (PA) Systems
  • Intrusion Detection Systems
  • Fire Safety Solutions

Technical Skills

Strong IT literacy: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).

Strong presentation, sales, negotiation, and influencing skills.

AutoCAD proficiency is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement

Engage with clients and MEP main contractors to identify requirements and propose tailored IT, Access Control, and CCTV solutions.

Attend pre-tender, technical, and presales meetings at client offices or on-site.

Deliver impactful presentations and product demonstrations.

Solution Design & Proposal Development

Evaluate RFQs and RFPs for feasibility and advise management on engagement strategies.

Design conceptual, preliminary, and detailed layouts using industry-standard systems and 3rd-party components.

Prepare technical and commercial proposals, BOQs, BOMs, and manpower/material pricing.

Translate client needs into detailed technical solutions, including diagrams and system architectures.

Project Support

  • Conduct independent site surveys, audits, and documentation preparation.
  • Provide precise AutoCAD inputs to draftsmen for drawing creation.
  • Coordinate proof-of-concept demos, pilot projects, and technical evaluations.
  • Ensure accurate documentation handover to implementation teams.
  • Respond to technical queries (RFI/RFP) and support sales in qualifying opportunities.
  • Technical Leadership & Market Awareness
  • Provide guidance for advanced integrated security systems and solutions.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and technical conferences.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.
