UNLOCK YOUR BEST WORK LIFE+ MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO EVERY LIFEWe have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Primary Care Nurse to join our Primary Care team at HMP The Mount a category C training prison built on the site of a former RAF station on the outskirts of Bovingdon village, Hertfordshire.In this role you'll be working with a multi-disciplinary team that will support you and help you succeed.HoursWeekdays: 07:45 - 16:45 & 07:45 -18:30Weekends: 08:30 - 18:00There is an expectation to work 1 weekend in 4.SalaryThis position is full time, you'll receive an annual salary up to £54,397 per annum - depending on experience.How will we support you?• Bespoke induction, including our Introducing Health in Justice training course• Competency framework• Regional and national career development opportunities• Our bespoke Learning Management System to address your learning needs• Support from the wider teamCandidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.What you'll be doingAs a Senior Primary Care Nurse, your responsibilities will vary. You will
  • Be an integral part of the multi-disciplinary healthcare team by bringing your top-notch clinical skills and passion for care.
  • Undertake a wide variety of tasks including screening, assessments, examinations, and tests as well as answering emergency bells and potentially being the first person to attend an emergency.
  • Develop and apply new skills to maintain and enhance clinical service delivery.
  • Share knowledge, skills and expertise to ensure safe care, building strong multi-disciplinary teams and supporting each other to do a great job.

  • NMC Registered nurse - Adult
  • Evidence of Continued Professional Development
  • Understanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working

  • Ability to work unsupervised whilst following policy and procedures
