Inviting applications for the role of Senior Principal Consultant, SAP S4 HANA IS Retail – RTR/Finance!
The S/4HANA IS-Retail Expert (Procurement) is responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting SAP S/4HANA Retail solutions focused on procurement processes. This role ensures efficient vendor management, purchase order processing, and integration with merchandising and supply chain systems to enable smooth retail operations.
Responsibilities
Solution Design & Configuration
Configure SAP S/4HANA Finance modules (FI, CO) for retail operations.
Implement processes for General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Profitability Analysis.
Set up R2R workflows including period-end closing, consolidation, and reporting.
Integration
Integrate finance processes with procurement, merchandising, and supply chain modules.
Ensure seamless data flow between operational systems and financial reporting tools.
Compliance & Controls
Implement tax, statutory, and regulatory compliance within SAP.
Configure internal controls and audit trails for financial transactions.
Process Optimization
Automate financial closing and reporting processes.
Enable real-time analytics for profitability and cost management.
Support & Training
Provide Level 3 support for finance and controlling-related SAP issues.
Conduct workshops and training for finance and business teams.
Qualifications/Skills we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Graduation: B.Tech/B.E, MBA/MCA
Technical Expertise
Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules.
Experience with R2R processes, financial closing, and reporting.
Familiarity with Fiori apps and SAP Analytics Cloud for financial reporting.
Domain Knowledge
Understanding of retail finance operations (store-level accounting, promotions impact, inventory valuation).
Exposure to IFRS/GAAP compliance and tax regulations.
Experience
SAP Finance implementations.
At least 2 full-cycle S/4HANA projects with finance and control focus
Preferred Qualifications
SAP Certification in S/4HANA Finance.
Experience with SAP Group Reporting or BPC (Business Planning & Consolidation).
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
