Senior Process Engineer

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or Dairy Processing Engineering

• Minimum 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in dairy processing and equipment, preferably in a dairy plant. • Strong knowledge of dairy processing technologies (pasteurization, homogenization, UHT, CIP, separation, mixing, etc.).

• Proven experience in project execution, equipment installation, and commissioning. • Familiarity with hygienic design standards and food safety regulations.

• Experience in performing mass balance, heat balance, hydraulic calculations, and utility load estimations, ensuring that process calculations meet performance expectations (KPI), quality, and safety requirements.

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills. • Strong communication and coordination abilities.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD or Inventor for process design and equipment layout.

Responsibilities:

Project Implementation & Support

• Assist the Plant Project Manager in the execution of capital and improvement projects within the dairy process plant.

• Support in preparing project plans, schedules, and budgets related to process systems.

• Coordinate with equipment suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders for project execution.

• Monitor project progress and provide technical input to ensure timely and cost-effective completion. Technical Support & Documentation

• Prepare technical documentation, including equipment specifications, SOPs, and commissioning reports.

• Participate in FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests) and SAT (Site Acceptance Tests) for process equipment.

• Support commissioning and start-up of new lines and process plants.

• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving process-related issues during project execution. Cross- Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with the Quality, Maintenance, and Production teams to ensure smooth integration of new projects.

• Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to ensure compliance with company requirements.

• Provide technical training and support to plant operators and maintenance teams on new equipment and processes. Compliance & Safety

• Ensure that all process designs and project executions comply with regulatory, environmental, and safety standards.

• Support in implementing sustainable and energy-efficient process solutions.
