Senior Procurement Analyst

Job Duties:

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to contract award, for a wide range of goods and services.
  • Draft, review, and issue complex solicitations, including Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Analyze proposals and bids, and conduct cost and price analyses.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with federal, state, and city regulations, including the Procurement Policy Board (PPB) rules.
  • Prepare detailed reports on procurement status, metrics, and outcomes.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, providing expert advice on procurement strategies and procedures.
  • Work closely with legal, finance, and program teams.
  • Guide and mentor junior procurement staff.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and a strong problem-solver.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of government procurement rules, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Education and Experience:

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive f progressively responsible experience in government procurement or a related field.
  • Experience in a large, complex organization is preferred.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Government Procurement : 5 years (Required)
  • Procurement : 8 years (Required)
