Senior Procurement Engineer

Key Responsibilities:-

• Develop and implement procurement strategies that support project objectives, cost targets, and quality requirements.
• Review and assess technical specifications, Bill of Quantities (BOQs), and engineering drawings to determine suitable vendors and ensure alignment with project needs.
• Conduct market research and supplier assessments to identify, evaluate, and qualify potential local and international vendors/subcontractors.
• Manage the Request for Information (RFI), Request for Proposal (RFP), and Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules, aiming for the best value (quality, price, and reliability).
• Prepare, review, and execute purchase orders (POs) and subcontract agreements in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Oversee the entire procurement lifecycle, from requisition to final delivery and payment.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Civil or Arch.
• 5-8+ years of progressive experience in procurement, sourcing, or purchasing, preferably in a construction, manufacturing, or specific technical industry.
• Professional qualifications in Supply Chain/Logistics.
• Strong technical knowledge and ability to interpret blueprints, technical specifications, and engineering data.
