Senior Procurement Engineer

About the role:

Euro Mechanical is looking for a Senior Procurement Engineer.

The Senior Procurement Engineer is responsible of Insuring and executing procurement activities for EPC Oil & Gas projects, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and compliant procurement of materials, equipment, and services in line with project requirements, company procedures, and client specifications, leading and developing junior procurement engineers and buyers to achieve project and organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end procurement for EPC Oil & Gas projects ensuring timely, cost-effective, and compliant sourcing of materials, equipment, and services
• Source, evaluate, and qualify suppliers in line with quality, safety, and compliance standards
• Prepare and issue purchase orders and procurement documentation per company and project requirements
• Track procurement progress including deliveries, payments, and approvals to meet project schedules
• Coordinate with project teams, stakeholders, and suppliers to resolve procurement issues
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and contractual procurement requirements
• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier data, and contracts
• Support cost control by analyzing spend and identifying savings opportunities
• Mentor and guide junior procurement staff
• Maintain strong internal customer relationships and service levels
• Ensure proper use and management of company assets
• Uphold company values, ethics, and brand principles in all procurement activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related discipline).
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar procurement role within EPC Oil & Gas projects.
• Knowledge of Oil and Gas equipment, Specifications, Material of Construction, industry standards, International Standards etc.
