Senior Procurement Engineer
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Mandatory).
- 7–15 years of experience in procurement engineering and civil construction projects.
- Proven experience working with construction and contracting companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the procurement of civil construction materials, equipment, and related services.
- Review and analyze engineering drawings, technical specifications, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors, both technically and commercially.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and contract terms with suppliers.
- Follow up on purchase orders and ensure timely delivery in line with project requirements.
- Coordinate with project and site teams to ensure the availability of required materials and equipment.
- Evaluate suppliers and maintain effective supplier relationships.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in procurement of construction materials, civil works, and infrastructure projects.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and quantity take-offs.
- Good knowledge of procurement procedures, tendering processes, and contract administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in infrastructure, water treatment, or industrial projects.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
