Senior Procurement Executive

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Purchase Executive to join our team and oversee procurement activities within the Interior Design and Architect vertical. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent negotiation skills, and a thorough understanding of the procurement process within the interior design industry.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials, products, and services required for interior design projects.
• Identify reliable suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain relationships to secure favorable terms and pricing.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and specifications, and proactively source materials that meet quality standards and design expectations.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment to prevent shortages and delays in project timelines.
• Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and new product developments to inform purchasing decisions.
• Evaluate supplier performance based on key metrics such as quality, delivery reliability, and cost-effectiveness, and implement improvement strategies as needed.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Work closely with the design and production teams to coordinate delivery schedules, resolve supply chain issues, and support project execution.
• Provide leadership and guidance to junior procurement staff, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in procurement and supply chain management, and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably within the interior design, architecture, or construction industry.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms and pricing from suppliers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with procurement software or ERP systems.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness in all aspects of work.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Leadership qualities with the ability to mentor and develop junior staff members.
