Job Title: Senior Procurement Manager

Location: Mumbai (GHATKOPAR WEST)

Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

•Lead and manage end-to-end procurement operations for logistics services, including sourcing, vendor selection, and purchase order management.

•Oversee vendor billing and ensure timely processing of invoices related to transportation, warehousing, and other logistics services.

•Conduct and monitor vendor KYC verification, maintaining accurate and updated vendor records.

•Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements to optimize cost efficiency.

•Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, and audit standards across all procurement activities.

•Monitor logistics-related procurement requirements, inventory levels, and raise purchase requests as needed.

•Prepare and present procurement reports, MIS, and insights for senior management decision-making.

•Collaborate with internal teams (finance, operations, and logistics teams) to streamline processes and ensure smooth workflow.

•Mentor and guide the procurement team to achieve operational excellence and efficiency.

•Required Skills & Qualifications:

•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.

•Proven experience in procurement, vendor management, billing, and KYC verification, preferably in the logistics sector.

•Strong leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills.

•Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP, and other procurement/software tools.

•Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.

Experience:

•5–10 years of relevant procurement and vendor management experience, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial or team-leading role.
