Who You Are:

As the Sr. Category Manager of Transportation & Logistics, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of procurement operations globally, such as developing and executing sourcing strategies that drive cost savings, improving supplier performance, and ensuring category compliance. You’ll develop sourcing strategies, lead sourcing events (RFPs, negotiations), monitor commodity markets, and build supplier and stakeholder relationships. You’ll partner with internal stakeholders to align procurement efforts with business needs and may also coach junior Sourcing staff. Success requires the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects / initiatives simultaneously, often across different business units and timelines.


What You’ll Do:

  • Generate and implement sourcing and category management strategies
  • End-to-end sourcing execution
  • Cost modeling and bid analysis
  • Forecasting and market intelligence
  • Stakeholder and supplier relationship management
  • Negotiation and project management
  • Overall analysis and optimization of category spend


You’ll Need to Have:

  • 5–8 years in category management or strategic sourcing
  • Experience running competitive bids and managing supplier performance
  • Familiarity with demand management and category optimization
  • Experience mentoring or managing sourcing analysts or specialists
  • Knowledge of transportation, fulfillment, logistics, warehousing
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to generate data-driven insights into procurement optimization
