Senior Procurement Officer

Job Summary:

The Procurement Senior Officer is responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services in alignment with policies and strategic objectives. The role involves sourcing and evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, analyzing market trends, and maintaining strong vendor relationships to secure optimal value. The Senior Officer also ensures compliance with procurement procedures, supports budgeting and forecasting, and contributes to continuous process improvement to enhance efficiency and transparency across the supply chain.


Core Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the purchase order process by supporting the creation, review, and tracking of purchase orders to ensure operational needs are met.
  • Gather information from suppliers and internal stakeholders to support procurement activities and ensure clarity through effective communication.
  • Help in the preparation and management of agreements and financial engagements with suppliers, ensuring alignment with the bank objectives.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to facilitate smooth communication.
  • Support the supplier registration, assessment, and qualification processes as part of procurement operations.
  • Assist in confirming work completion and supplier performance by collaborating with internal stakeholders and gathering necessary information.
  • Inform management of supplier performance issues and help maintain and update the supplier blacklist.
  • Collect and organize data required for generating reports and updating ERP systems to ensure accurate records.


Qualification & Years, Nature of Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a relevant major.

Around 2 years of experience with preference in a relevant role.

Prior experience in a relevant field preferred in banking.
