Senior Procurement Officer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Officer to lead and develop our procurement and inventory strategy. This role will oversee end-to-end purchasing operations while building and maintaining strong relationships with manufacturers, distributors and international suppliers, particularly across Europe and China.

This is a senior, high-impact role with direct influence on business profitability and growth. You will be responsible for shaping Gotraka’s procurement strategy, building trusted relationships with global suppliers and ensuring consistent access to competitive inventory.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all procurement and inventory operations across resale and manufacturing
• Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with vendors, suppliers and manufacturers
• Liaise regularly with international suppliers in Europe and China
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times and allocation agreements
• Secure early access to new products, exclusive deals and limited-availability inventory
• Manage purchase planning for both component resale and in-house gaming PC builds
• Oversee inventory forecasting to balance availability, cash flow and demand
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure reliability, quality and compliance
• Track market trends, product lifecycles and component availability
• Work closely with ecommerce, operations and finance teams to align procurement strategy with business goals
• Introduce structure, processes and controls as the procurement function scales

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience in a senior procurement or supply chain role
• Demonstrated experience working with international suppliers, particularly European and Chinese manufacturers or distributors
• Strong background in technology hardware, computer components or electronics (essential)
• Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Strong commercial awareness and strategic mindset
• Experience managing procurement for both resale and manufacturing environments
• Advanced Excel skills for forecasting, cost analysis and reporting
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced ecommerce environment
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Confident communicator with stakeholders at all levels
• Experience sourcing branded components and managing allocations (highly desirable)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,167.83 - ₹60,769.96 per month
