Senior Procurement Specialist

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to manage procurement for interior fit-out and construction projects. The role involves sourcing materials, managing vendors, and coordinating procurement processes to meet project requirements, specifications, and budgets. The ideal candidate will collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, quotations, and purchase orders.
• Coordinate with internal teams to understand material needs and delivery schedules.
• Evaluate and select suppliers and subcontractors based on quality, pricing, and reliability.
• Monitor purchase orders, deliveries, and supplier commitments.
• Prepare procurement reports for management review.
• Assist in procurement planning, vendor selection, and sourcing strategies.
• Support the tendering process with quotations and cost comparisons.
• Maintain accurate procurement documentation.
• Ensure procurement activities align with project budgets and specifications.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficient in procurement systems/ERP software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier sourcing, and contract terms.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and negotiation skills.
• Strong communication skills for coordination with suppliers and internal teams.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and maintain supplier relationships.

Experience

• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in fit-out or construction projects.
• Proven experience managing the procurement cycle from sourcing to delivery coordination.
• Knowledge of local suppliers and construction practices in the UAE.
• Experience in commercial, retail, or office fit-out projects is a plus.
• Familiarity with procurement documentation and cost analysis in the construction industry.
