Procurement Engineer

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical or equivalent).
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in procurement within construction companies.
• Previous experience in High-Rise projects in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of suppliers, manufacturers, and the construction market in Dubai & UAE.
• Solid experience in procurement processes, RFQs, technical & commercial evaluations.
• Proven negotiation skills and experience in issuing purchase orders and contracts.
• Familiarity with contract forms (FIDIC preferred).
• Proficient in ERP systems (SAP / Oracle) and MS Excel.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent command of English (written & spoken); Arabic is an advantage.
• Ability to coordinate with Engineering, Planning, QS, and Site teams.

Responsibilities :

• Manage and execute all procurement activities in line with project schedule and budget.
• Prepare and issue RFQs and analyze technical and commercial bids.
• Coordinate with Engineering teams for material and supplier approvals.
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain best value and terms.
• Prepare, review, and issue Purchase Orders and Contracts.
• Monitor procurement schedules and ensure timely delivery to site.
• Coordinate with Planning and Site teams to avoid delays.
• Ensure materials comply with project specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain and evaluate supplier performance and vendor database.
