Assistant Manager – Purchase (CIVIL & MEP)

Experience: 10–15 Years
Location: Dubai, UAE

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager – Purchase with strong UAE-Dubai experience to support procurement operations, vendor management, and cost optimization across our construction projects.

  • UAE-Dubai experience is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing end-to-end procurement activities for construction materials and services
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers
  • Issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites
  • Maintain vendor database and monitor supplier performance
  • Coordinate with project, stores, and accounts teams for procurement planning
  • Review and process purchase requisitions, quotations, and approvals
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and UAE regulations
  • Prepare procurement reports, cost comparisons, and analysis statements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E.) or relevant field
  • 10–15 years of experience in procurement/purchase within the construction industry
  • Mandatory UAE-Dubai experience
  • Age: Up to 35 years
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with UAE import/export regulations and customs procedures
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, MEP equipment, and market pricing
  • Ability to manage multiple vendors and procurement activities simultaneously
