Senior Procurement Specialist

We’re partnering with a leading, innovation-driven organization in Abu Dhabi to hire a Senior Procurement Specialist to support and deliver across their procurement function.

This is a hands-on, strategic role where you will manage sourcing, contracting, and supplier engagement across advanced and technical categories, supporting complex and high-impact projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement activities across indirect and technical categories
• Drive strategic sourcing and category management for IT, professional services, and technical spend
• Manage contract negotiations and ensure strong commercial and compliant outcomes
• Oversee supplier selection, performance, and ongoing relationship management
• Identify cost optimization opportunities and deliver value across procurement activities
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including technical, R&D, finance, and operations teams
• Support procurement planning, reporting, and continuous process improvement

Candidate Profile

• 8+ years of procurement experience within a structured environment
• Strong background in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management
• Experience across IT procurement categories (software, infrastructure, hardware) is strongly preferred
• Exposure to professional services, consulting, or technical procurement categories is beneficial
• Engineering or technical background is an advantage
• Strong commercial, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience with ERP / eProcurement systems (SAP/Ariba preferred)
