What will you contribute?
As a Senior Product Analyst for Opics, a Treasury & Capital Markets product, you will serve as a Product Owner within a Scrum team, independently driving strategic and client-committed initiatives. You will play a key role in shaping product features, translating business needs into functional specifications, and ensuring timely delivery aligned with client expectations.
This role is based in Bengaluru, India, reporting to the Product Manager, and supports global stakeholders across product strategy, development, and client engagement.
Responsibilities & Deliverables:
Your deliverables will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Own and manage the product backlog, define user stories, and prioritize features for delivery.
Collaborate with clients, business stakeholders, and development teams to gather requirements and translate them into clear functional specifications.
Drive end-to-end delivery of product features in alignment with strategic goals and client commitments.
Analyze financial workflows and system behavior across asset classes including Fixed Income, Derivatives, and FX.
Provide subject matter expertise in Risk concepts such as Value at Risk (VaR), Sensitivity Analysis, and Risk Reporting.
Support functional testing, UAT, and release planning activities.
Contribute to modernization initiatives, including cloud adoption and technology upgrades.
Maintain awareness of SDLC processes and Agile best practices to support efficient delivery.
Required Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in financial services, IT product companies, or banking operations in Treasury, Capital Markets, or Risk domains.
Hands-on experience in banking operations related to asset classes (Fixed Income, Derivatives, FX) or risk management.
Strong understanding of financial instruments and their lifecycle events.
Experience preparing Functional Specification Documents and working closely with development teams.
Exposure to Risk concepts such as VaR, Sensitivity Analysis, and Risk Metrics.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and backlog management tools.
Good understanding of finance fundamentals and business processes.
Knowledge of cloud technologies, modernization initiatives, or digital transformation is a plus.
Educational qualifications such as CFA, CA, MBA (Finance), or FRM are preferred.
Experience working previously with Treasury & Capital Markets platforms is advantageous
