Job Summary

Al Haadi Mobilya is seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Product Designer to lead the development of high-quality, functional, and market-ready furniture products. The ideal candidate will manage the full design process, from concept creation to production-ready designs, while mentoring junior designers and ensuring designs align with company standards and market trends.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of furniture and interior products, from concept sketches to technical drawings and prototypes.
• Translate market trends, client requirements, and brand identity into innovative and functional designs.
• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings, material specifications, and product documentation for manufacturing.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, and marketing teams to ensure design feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and timely execution.
• Mentor and guide junior designers, interns, and design team members.
• Conduct research on materials, finishes, ergonomics, and furniture construction methods.
• Review and improve existing product designs based on feedback from clients, production teams, or market response.
• Maintain a portfolio of designs, prototypes, and technical documents.
• Ensure all designs comply with quality standards, safety regulations, and brand guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design, or related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in furniture, interior, or product design.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar 3D modeling and rendering software.
• Proven ability to create innovative, functional, and manufacturable designs.
• Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, joinery, and furniture construction methods.
• Excellent creativity, aesthetic sense, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills.

Preferred Skills (Optional)

• Experience in luxury or high-end furniture design.
• Experience leading design teams or mentoring junior designers.
• Knowledge of production processes, costing, and quality control.
