Senior Product Marketing & Competitive Intelligence Analyst

We are looking for a highly analytical and execution-oriented Product Marketing & Competitive Intelligence Analyst to drive and scale our lead intelligence, intent-driven demand programs, and pipeline analytics. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, AI-driven environment and wants to directly influence revenue outcomes—not just activity metrics.

VIDIZMO is a U.S.-based technology company headquartered in Tysons, Virginia, and a Microsoft Solutions Partner across Data & AI, Infrastructure, and Digital & App Innovation. Through our AI-powered Intelligence Hub, we help Fortune 500 enterprises, government agencies, and public sector organizations securely manage, analyze, and govern complex data with full control and compliance. We compete at the cutting edge of AI, video analytics, and digital evidence technology alongside companies like Axon, NICE, Veritone, and Milestone.

Our Multimodal AI Data Intelligence Platform uses Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to enable advanced capabilities such as automated tagging, redaction, summarization, OCR, translation, subtitle generation, object detection and tracking, intelligent search, sentiment and emotion analysis, topic extraction, document classification, and facial recognition.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a technically curious and analytically sharp Product Marketing & Competitive Intelligence Analyst to serve as the strategic brain of our go-to-market efforts. This hybrid role bridges Product Marketing, Market Intelligence, and Competitive Analysis — ensuring VIDIZMO’s products are positioned correctly, differentiated in the market, and supported by data-driven insights. You will be the person who understands why customers buy, why they don’t, and why competitors win. Your work will directly shape our messaging, sales enablement, product positioning, and strategic decisions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Competitive Intelligence

  • Track and analyze competitor products, features, pricing, positioning, partnerships, and acquisitions (Axon, NICE, Veritone, Milestone, etc.)
  • Create and maintain competitor battlecards, product comparison tables, pricing analyses, and SWOT reports
  • Monitor competitor press releases, product launches, and strategic moves on a weekly basis

Market Research & Analysis

  • Analyze industry reports from Gartner, IDC, and Frost & Sullivan to identify market trends and opportunities
  • Track government RFP trends, G2/Capterra reviews, LinkedIn signals, and startup/funding activity
  • Produce quarterly market reports covering DEMS, AI redaction, and video intelligence trends

Product Positioning & Messaging

  • Develop deep understanding of VIDIZMO products: EnterpriseTube (video CMS), DEMS (evidence lifecycle/chain of custody), and Redactor (AI redaction/privacy compliance)
  • Collaborate with product and marketing teams to refine messaging, positioning, and differentiation strategy
  • Identify gaps in the market and opportunities for product differentiation and category creation

Sales Enablement

  • Create sales-ready materials including battlecards, competitor comparisons, objection-handling guides, and feature matrices
  • Support sales teams with real-time competitive insights during deal cycles
  • Conduct win/loss analysis and translate findings into actionable recommendations

AI Output Verification & Accountability (Required Competency)

The candidate must be capable of effectively using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar) to support work outputs such as content, analysis, documentation, or code. However, the candidate must also demonstrate strong judgment and ownership of the final deliverables. AI-generated output must never be treated as final without review. The candidate is expected to validate accuracy, completeness, logic, compliance, and alignment with business requirements, and refine AI-assisted work to meet the expected quality standards. The individual will be held accountable for the final output, regardless of whether AI tools were used during execution.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Business + Technology, or MBA with a technical background
  • 2–4 years of experience in product marketing, competitive intelligence, market research, or a related analytical role within a SaaS/technology company
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze technical products and translate complex features into clear market positioning
  • Solid grasp of AI/ML concepts, video processing, cloud architecture, APIs, and integrations
  • Ability to test competitor demos, read technical documentation, and evaluate product integrations
  • Comfort working with data analysis and visualization tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau)

TOOLS & PLATFORMS

  • Market Research: Gartner, IDC, Frost & Sullivan
  • Competitive Analysis: Crunchbase, SimilarWeb, G2, Capterra
  • Sales Intelligence: Apollo, ZoomInfo, HubSpot
  • Data & Analytics: Excel, Power BI, Tableau

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Genuinely curious about technology, products, and competitive landscapes
  • Product-obsessed — enjoys understanding how software works and why customers adopt it
  • Independent learner who proactively reads product blogs, startup news, and industry reports
  • Strategic thinker who considers positioning, category creation, and differentiation
  • Analytical mindset comfortable with trend analysis, pricing analysis, and feature comparison
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for creating sales-ready deliverables

KEY DELIVERABLES

  • Competitive Battlecards: Vendor strengths, weaknesses, and positioning vs. VIDIZMO
  • Feature Comparison Matrices: Side-by-side feature analysis across VIDIZMO, Axon, NICE, and others
  • Market Reports: Quarterly insights on DEMS market, AI redaction, and video intelligence trends
  • Sales Enablement Materials: Objection responses, competitor comparisons, and deal-support decks
  • Win/Loss Analysis: Post-deal analysis identifying patterns in wins and losses
  • Pricing Intelligence: Ongoing competitor pricing tracking and recommendations
