The project

This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in Saudi Arabia. This unique project consists of major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure.

Mace is currently providing programme management and looking for high-calibre experienced people. We are hiring an ambitious and forward-thinking planning manager to join our established and growing team in Saudi.

You'll be responsible

• Leads implementation and delivery of PMO and project controls services across commissions.
• Manages performance and integration of PMO, planning, and project controls functions.
• Designs and implements PMO and project controls frameworks and strategies.
• Directs clients, consultants, and project teams on all related matters.
• Builds strong client relationships and ensures expectations are met.
• Provides expert advice on cost, schedule, change, risk, and reporting processes.
• Facilitates governance, performance meetings, and structured reporting.
• Develops and manages baselines and monitors delivery performance and change.
• Contributes to quantitative cost and time analysis.
• Collaborates with PMO directors and project managers to identify actions and mitigate risks.
• Ensures compliance with Mace Control Centre, client requirements, and regulations.
• Mentors and manages PMO and project controls team members, supporting recruitment and development.

You'll need to have

• Experience supporting PMO and project controls delivery within construction and/or consultancy sectors.
• Holds APM planning and project controls (PPC) foundation and practitioner certifications.
• Progressing toward Chartered status and membership in a relevant professional institution (e.g., APM).
