Senior Project Development Manager

Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Project Development Manager with expertise in design, architecture, and construction. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to manage all aspects of the property development process, from concept through to completion including Sales & Marketing, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and developer requirements who act as a client representative. You will work closely with a dynamic team and external partners, delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. This role requires a professional who is enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and has excellent communication, leadership skills and to deal with developers.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee all phases of property development, including site selection, design, permitting, construction, and project delivery.
• Manage budgets, timelines, and quality standards to ensure successful project completion.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and developers to ensure design and construction meet specifications and standards.
• Prepare and present project reports, including financial forecasts and progress updates to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with design and architectural teams to ensure alignment with project vision, local regulations, and best practices.
• Review architectural designs, construction drawings, and blueprints to ensure feasibility and compliance.
• Provide input on design decisions to improve functionality, aesthetics, and cost-efficiency of the project.
• Address any construction-related issues and provide problem-solving strategies to minimize delays or cost overruns.
• Ensure that all safety regulations and building codes are strictly adhered to during the construction process.
• Serve as the main point of contact for developers, ensuring strong working relationships and smooth collaboration throughout the project.
• Negotiate and manage agreements with developers, contractors, and consultants to ensure project success.
• Provide detailed feasibility studies for the current and upcoming projects.
• Sales & marketing knowledge, mainly for off plan residential project, data analysis for the market of off plan.
• Input on design decisions to improve functionality, aesthetics, and cost-efficiency of the project.
• Ensure developer expectations are met by providing timely updates and addressing concerns or changes promptly.
• Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of project managers, designers, architects, engineers.
• Foster a collaborative work environment that encourages creativity, accountability, and efficiency.
• Knowledge about the UAE market, mainly Dubai. Up to date with latest market launches.
• Knows the steps for project registration, Oqood registration, Escrow account opening, Surveying and all other DLD matters.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in property development, with a focus on design, architecture, and construction.
• Proven experience working with developers and managing large-scale projects.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
