We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to lead end-to-end delivery of Redox Flow Battery (RFB) turnkey projects in Dubai and the wider UAE region. This role covers all phases—design, procurement, installation, commissioning, and handover—and requires strong expertise in energy storage systems and large-scale industrial project management.
You will manage multidisciplinary teams, engage directly with key stakeholders and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Define project scope, schedules, budgets, and risk strategies.
- Oversee engineering design and ensure compliance with IEC/IEEE, DEWA, and DM standards.
- Lead procurement, vendor selection, and supply chain management.
- Manage on-site construction, HSE compliance, and installation.
- Supervise commissioning, testing, and grid interconnection approvals.
- Track project KPIs, control costs, and prepare management reports.
- Act as primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and regulators.
- Oversee final handover, O&M manuals, and client training.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical/Renewable Energy); Master’s is a plus.
- PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
- 6-7 years’ project management experience, with 2–3 years in turnkey renewable/power projects.
- Hands-on experience with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS); RFB experience strongly preferred.
- Proven success in delivering projects in UAE/GCC.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong technical expertise in energy storage & grid integration.
- Proficiency in MS Project or similar tools.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Financial acumen in budgeting and cost control.
- Strong communication skills (English essential; Arabic is an advantage).
- Safety, quality, and compliance mindset.
Salary Range: AED 7000 to AED 8000
