Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, plan, and execute finishing and architectural works including blockwork, plastering, painting, flooring, ceiling, cladding, doors, windows, and other interior/exterior finishes.
- Review and interpret architectural and interior drawings to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with design intent.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure the timely and quality execution of finishing works.
- Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure adherence to approved specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.
- Monitor and control manpower, materials, and equipment to achieve daily and weekly progress targets.
- Prepare daily progress reports, inspection requests, snag lists, and quality checklists for all finishing activities.
- Liaise with MEP and structural teams to ensure seamless coordination of finishing works and resolution of interface issues.
- Ensure proper sequencing of activities to meet handover milestones and minimize rework or delays.
- Supervise mock-up installations and ensure client/consultant approvals before full-scale execution.
- Support QA/QC teams in verifying materials, performing inspections, and maintaining site records for approvals.
- Enforce strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across all site activities.
- Assist in material take-offs, requisitions, and follow-ups with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of required items.
- Identify potential site issues, discrepancies, or design conflicts and provide practical engineering solutions.
- Participate in coordination meetings with consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams to review progress and address challenges.
- Ensure the highest standards of finishing quality are achieved as per client expectations and project specifications.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- 7–10 years of experience in site supervision and execution of architectural and finishing works (high-rise, residential, or commercial projects preferred).
- Strong knowledge of interior finishes, materials, and installation techniques.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and familiar with project scheduling software (Primavera / MS Project).
- Excellent understanding of architectural detailing, material specifications, and quality standards.
- Strong coordination, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage subcontractors, monitor performance, and maintain quality workmanship.
- Familiarity with local authority regulations and approval processes.
- GCC work experience and a valid driving license are preferred.
