Senior Project Engineer -Electrical

• Diagnose, analyze, and resolve issues related to switchgear, lifts/elevators, UPS systems, and other building electrical infrastructure.
• Support both preventive and corrective maintenance activities in alignment with company standards.
• Schedule and undertake periodic maintenance on all electrical equipment, components, and installations, provide prompt response to inquiries whenever there is a breakdown, and resolve the issue as quickly as possible
• Ensure that equipment is in good working order to prevent disruption of activities, recommend a replacement for old or faulty electrical components or fittings to the management
• Assist in forecasting requirements, creating a budget, and scheduling expenses for the electrical department
• Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and performance reports.
• Perform root cause analysis and contribute to performance improvement initiatives.
• Ensure full compliance with electrical safety codes and maintenance procedures.
• Keep a record of all stock and supplies, including the company’s electrical equipment
• Troubleshoot breakdowns and provide preventive maintenance services
• Provide a safe working environment for members of staff, and ensure electricity-induced accidents and mishaps are prevented
• Take steps to prevent fire outbreaks by making appropriate recommendations to management
• Procure electrical fittings and components or supervise the staff charged with responsibility
• Supervise electrical works when new projects are undertaken
• Support the company in increasing profitability by managing resources efficiently and making necessary recommendations.
• An Electrical engineering degree with UPDA and a minimum of 10 years of experience in maintenance/ FM is required
• Available in Doha Qatar for a face-to-face interview
• Transferable visa with NOC
