- Diagnose, analyze, and resolve issues related to switchgear, lifts/elevators, UPS systems, and other building electrical infrastructure.
- Support both preventive and corrective maintenance activities in alignment with company standards.
- Schedule and undertake periodic maintenance on all electrical equipment, components, and installations, provide prompt response to inquiries whenever there is a breakdown, and resolve the issue as quickly as possible
- Ensure that equipment is in good working order to prevent disruption of activities, recommend a replacement for old or faulty electrical components or fittings to the management
- Assist in forecasting requirements, creating a budget, and scheduling expenses for the electrical department
- Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and performance reports.
- Perform root cause analysis and contribute to performance improvement initiatives.
- Ensure full compliance with electrical safety codes and maintenance procedures.
- Keep a record of all stock and supplies, including the company’s electrical equipment
- Troubleshoot breakdowns and provide preventive maintenance services
- Provide a safe working environment for members of staff, and ensure electricity-induced accidents and mishaps are prevented
- Take steps to prevent fire outbreaks by making appropriate recommendations to management
- Procure electrical fittings and components or supervise the staff charged with responsibility
- Supervise electrical works when new projects are undertaken
- Support the company in increasing profitability by managing resources efficiently and making necessary recommendations.
- An Electrical engineering degree with UPDA and a minimum of 10 years of experience in maintenance/ FM is required
- Available in Doha Qatar for a face-to-face interview
- Transferable visa with NOC
