Senior Project Manager

Remote, United States

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead strategic site transitions and manufacturing footprint projects across North America and select international locations.


This position will develop detailed project plans, work with technical resources on product/process specifications, ensure resource availability and allocation, and uses problem solving techniques to deliver every project on time and within budget and scope.


As a highly visible role, you will have direct interaction and give presentations to senior leadership, including the CEO and Executive Leadership Team.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead international site changes, including site closures, relocations, and new launches.

  • Lead internal resources and third-party vendors for execution of projects.
  • Develop project plans, monitor, and report on project performance; this may include product development timelines such as tooling, manufacturing, or purchase of products according to timely release.
  • Research and identify potential vendors for project requirements.
  • Partner with U.S.-based and Mexico-based teams to execute large-scale, people-driven moves.

  • Drive organizational design and project execution from proposal through completion.

  • Work with technical resources, including Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and others to determine project technical requirements.
  • Work with other disciplines, including Sales, Purchasing, Quality, and Operations to ensure that all product and process requirements are being met for each project.
  • Present project status, risks, and milestones to executive leadership on a biweekly basis.

  • Build structure and processes in an environment where workflows are not yet fully defined.

  • Responsible for identifying and developing KPIs as it relates to the project.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: 5+ years in project management with demonstrated success in moving operations or launching new production lines. International experience preferred.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field required.

  • Nice to Have: Spanish language proficiency.



Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge

  • Exceptional communication, organization, and leadership skills. Ability to manage complex projects end-to-end in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office products, including Excel.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and others.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Travel:

  • Varies by project; up to 25% during launch periods including internationally,
