Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced
Senior Project Manager
with strong expertise in the
Banking and Financial Services domain
to lead and deliver complex, high-impact projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end project execution, coordinating cross-functional and multi-stakeholder teams, and ensuring projects are delivered
on time, within scope, budget, and regulatory compliance
.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage
large-scale banking projects
from initiation through closure.

Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables aligned with business goals.

Coordinate with internal stakeholders including
business teams, IT, vendors, and senior management
.

Ensure compliance with
banking regulations, risk management, and security standards
.

Monitor project progress, manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.

Prepare and present
project status reports, dashboards, and executive-level documentation
.

Manage project budgets, resource planning, and allocation.

Drive project execution using
Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies
, as appropriate.

Ensure quality assurance and successful
User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Mentor and guide junior project managers and team members.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum
8+ years of experience
in Project Management, preferably within
Banking or Financial Services
.

Strong understanding of banking processes including:

Core Banking

Payments
-
Lending
-
Digital Banking
-
Experience working with
regulatory and compliance frameworks
.

Proven ability to manage
complex, multi-stakeholder projects
.

Strong
leadership, communication, and stakeholder management
skills.

Proficiency in project management tools such as
MS Project, JIRA, and Confluence
.

Hands-on experience with
Agile/Scrum and Waterfall
methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications

PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications

global or distributed teams

digital transformation, system migration, or core banking implementation projects
