Senior Project Manager

Job Purpose:

The purpose of this position is to lead and manage complex projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The Senior Project Manager will oversee project teams, manage stakeholder relationships, and drive continuous improvement in project processes.

Accountabilities:

• Lead project planning sessions to define project scope, goals, deliverables , and timelines.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation and risk management strategies.
• Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring adherence to project plans and milestones.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project stakeholders, team members, and clients.
• Manage project budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost control.
• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
• Conduct regular project status meetings and prepare detailed status reports for stakeholders.
• Mentor and guide project team members, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
• Implement best practices and methodologies to improve project management processes.

Working and Skill Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in project management , with a proven track record of managing complex projects.
• Education : Minimum bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Solid understanding of budgeting and financial management principles.

Training:

• Project Management Professional ( PMP ) certification or equivalent is preferred.
• Additional certifications in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster) are a plus
• Training in Agile methodologies is preferred.

Skills & Languages:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
• Proficient in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
