Senior Project Manager

The project

Mace is supporting the delivery of a large scale leisure and entertainment development forming part of the wider Giga programme in Saudi Arabia. It comprises high end luxury residential and entertainment/hospitality assets delivered to demanding international standards within a fast paced, integrated programme. The role focuses on driving safe, high quality delivery across complex interfaces while supporting the client's vision for a world class destination.

You'll be responsible for:
  • Leading end to end delivery of assigned complex building works from design through construction and handover.
  • Managing multidisciplinary consultants, contractors, and specialist suppliers on a complex, live programme.
  • Controlling the programme, cost, risk and change in line with Mace and the client's governance processes.
  • Acting as the day to day senior client interface, driving decisions, reporting and issue resolution.
  • Ensuring HSW, quality and sustainability standards are embedded and consistently achieved on site.
  • Overseeing procurement strategy, contractor performance and commercial compliance.
  • Contributing to program wide integration, readiness planning and key milestone achievement.
You'll need to have:
  • Proven project management experience on large, complex construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrable delivery experience across hospitality, high end residential or complex public entertainment venues.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement, contract management and delivery under international forms of contract.
  • Experience working in the Middle East, ideally Saudi Arabia, on mega projects or remote sites.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills across clients, authorities, consultants and contractors.
  • Strong commercial, programme and risk management capability with a hands on delivery mindset.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or a related discipline (chartered status preferred).
  • Aligned with Mace's values, with a proactive, collaborative and safety first approach.
  • Embed Mace's safety first culture, ensuring HSW compliance while promoting well being, inclusion and accountable leadership.
  • Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and relevant work experience on high valued projects or programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.
