Key Responsibilities:1. Project Planning & Execution
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Oversee day-to-day project activities and ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Ensure timely completion of all civil works as per project milestones.
2. Site Management
- Monitor site operations, quality control, safety standards, and workforce productivity.
- Conduct regular site inspections and resolve any technical issues.
- Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, contractors, and subcontractors.
3. Design & Coordination
- Liaise with architects, structural engineers, MEP consultants, and vendors for design clarifications.
- Review and approve shop drawings, material submissions, and method statements.
- Ensure alignment of all services with civil engineering requirements.
4. Budgeting & Cost Control
- Monitor project expenditure and ensure adherence to approved budgets.
- Evaluate contractor quotations, negotiate rates, and certify bills.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
5. Procurement & Resource Management
- Plan and monitor procurement of materials, equipment, and resources.
- Approve material quality and ensure timely delivery to site.
- Coordinate with the procurement team for vendor finalization.
6. Client & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Provide regular project updates, reports, and presentations.
- Manage change requests, risks, and ensure client satisfaction.
7. Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, building codes, and company policies.
- Implement health and safety standards across the project site.
- Conduct toolbox meetings and enforce safety protocols.
8. Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor project teams including engineers, supervisors, and site staff.
- Allocate responsibilities and monitor team performance.
- Foster a high-performance work culture.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
Experience:
- 10–15+ years of experience in civil construction, preferably in real estate, commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale projects independently.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of civil engineering practices, construction methods, and project management tools.
- Knowledge of MS Project , AutoCAD, and standard project reporting tools.
- Expertise in drawings interpretation, quality standards, and site execution.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple deadlines.
